Auxiliary ketch NOORD BRABAND, 100 ton, of Vlaardingen, master B. Rodeveld. Enroute Stornoway to Vlaardingen. Lost 28 Feb 1928, 4.30am GMT at Brims Ness, 5 miles from Holburn Head Lighthouse. Wind SSE light breeze, clear, smooth sea, frosty haze on land. 14 saved. Cargo salt herring 700 barrels. I could not get any further particulars, value of vessel & cargo not known. Steam drifter took crew off & into Scrabster.
