Steam trawler EDWARD VII, of Grimsby, master Joseph Buckllion. Enroute from Flannan Islands to Grimsby. Lost 2 feb 1929 at Brims Ness, 4 miles from Holburn Head Lighthouse. Wind South South East moderate breeze. Cause of wreck moderate sea haze, thick haze on land. 10 persons saved. Cargo of fish. Value of vessel and cargo not known. Crew taken off by Scrabster lifeboat about midnight & brought to Scrabster. Trawler today full of water and likely to become a total wreck.
