Steam trawler HOLLAND, 99 ton, of Aberdeen, master Duncan Robertson. Bound for fishing grounds or changing fishing ground. Lost 3 June 1929, 3.25am. Staxigoe Bay, 1 mile from Noss Head Lighthouse. Daylight. Southerly moderate breeze, sea choppy, rain. Crew sounded depth and got 23 fathoms and then got on shore sooner than expected. 10 lives all saved. Value of vessel ?6000.
