Steam trawler MARTIN, of Grimsby, master A. Godwund, bound from Iceland to fishing grounds. Lost 17 June 1932, 4.15am. Langaton, 1/4 mile from Stroma Lighthouse. No light burning. Crew heard fog signal once just before striking and recognised the signal. Weather, calm, sea smooth, dense fog. Cause of wreck not given. 1 life lost, 15 saved. Cargo of fish. No more particulars given regarding the ship or her cargo.
