Full Description

From 0300 1131 to 0366 1176

An earthen boundary-dyke, which is much reduced and covered with peat, runs from Allt Lochan Sgeirich (NC 0300 1131) to the shore of Loch Osgaig (NC 0366 1176), a distance of at least 800m. From Peter May's survey of 1758, it appears that the Allt Lochan Sgeirich was the boundary between Badentarbet and Achnhaird townships (SRO, RHP 85395), but this bank suggests that the division between the farms was at one stage moved N to this new line.
