Two oval drystone shieling-huts were recorded at the base of a small waterfall about 5m W of where two branches of the Allt Ban meet, during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth. What may be a third shieling-hut lies about 40m to the SW, again at the base of a ridge.
