Full Description
Centred on 855 703
A turf and stone bank, which is situated S of A' Chosag and to the SE of Loch Bad an Sgalaig was recorded during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth. The purpose of the bank is unclear however it is shown as a continuous feature on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, sheet lvii, 1881), making use of natural features such burns to enclose a partially wooded area; it is therefore likely that this is a plantation bank. The bank is partially shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
