NG87SE 11 c.879 711

At least four shieling-huts, situated NW of Loch a' Chleirichon the SW of Slattadale Forest was recorded during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth. The shieling ground is defined by an area of cropped grass and bracken 100m by 20m with at least four mounds probably each containing an oval shieling structures c.4m by 2m. Theis also a complex drystone structure containing at least four chambers, and at least three or more small drystone structures 1.5m-2m wide, one of which is sighted on the W bank of the burn.
