This sheepfold, lying to the SW of Achlachan farmstead, was noted by J Wordsworth during a pre-afforestation survey. The sheepfold, which is now badly overgrown, measures 14m in diameter with a circular drystone wall which is 0.5m wide and stands up to 0.5m in height. It is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xvii).
