Full Description

ND15SW 72 centred on 1405 5260

Two low field banks, some 20m apart, were noted during a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth. Beyond a small plantation and an improved field and to the W of the modern road, there is a tree-lined avenue leading to Dale House (ND15SW 16) and the banks appear to be the continuation of this line to the Achlachan Burn.
J Wordsworth (Wordsworth Archaeological Services) 28 August 1997; NMRS MS 961/24, no.17
