An abandoned small farmstead is situated adjacent to the public road to Minera (ND13SE 110.00) surrounded by young trees, some 100m ESE from the chambered cairn (ND13SE 2). It consists single range with an extension, built of random rubble and partially roofed with corrugated iron sheets at its W end. Entrances are to the S. The W end also shows evidence of rebuilding, the original gable is still visible within the later gable-end.
