There is a turf banked enclosure and a scatter of small cairns, including a possible burial cairn, on the end of a low ridge on the valley floor to the N of the River Calder. The enclosure (KING95 742) is situated on the W edge of the group of small cairns and measures 3.8m in diameter within a turf bank spread to 1.3m in thickness and 0.2m in height, with an entrance on the SW. About eight small cairns (KING95 144), measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height, are disposed across the ridge. Towards the N side of the group there is a larger cairn (NN 6868 9978), possibly a burial cairn, which measures about 6m in diameter.
