Full Description

At NH 5558 1839 is a circular stone-walled hut, ill-defined by a platform with several stones around the perimeter, and measuring c. 11.0m in diameter. The entrance is in the E. Outside the W arc, another arc of stone suggests that the hut occupies the site of an earlier hut about 15.5m in diameter.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (A A) 4 July 1973

The hut circle is as described by the previous field investigator. A small minor field system extends south-eastwards from the hut. A well-defined rectangular plot, 33.0m by 7.0m, lies immediately SE of the hut.

Visited by OS (J B) 19 April 1979
