hat may be a prehistoric cairn or barrow, measuring a maximum of 13 m in diameter and 1.8 m in height, occupies a slight knoll 200 m S of Beaufort Cottages. Part of a kerb is visible about 2.5 m inside the NE edge of the mound.

At NH 4964 4188, within a walled enclosure, formerly a copse, at the W margin of a field, is a cairn, 12.0 m in diameter and 1.6 m high. It bears the stumps of trees, and is riddled with rabbit burrows in which is exposed a content of earth and stones.
