NN16SE 49 1573 6115

A possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.47), situated on lower, N-facing slopes of Coire Sgoilte, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). It measures 8.5m in diameter and is levelled into the hillside to a depth of 1.5m at the rear and terraced out to a height of 0.5m and faced with a drystone revetment at the front.
