A possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.70, set into the hillside overlooking the River Leven to the N, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). It measures 6m by 5m and is terraced into the slope to a depth of 0.3m. There is a 0.5m high revetment around the front edge.
