Full Description

At least three shieling-huts and a possible enclosure, occupying a grassy knoll, were noted during a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth (NMRS MS 961/12, no.5).
These turf-built structures are poorly preserved.

NH 1980 2103 Three/?four round-ended huts. Best-preserved oval 5 x 2.5m max.
