The faced-rubble footings of a rectangular building are situated on a terrace at the edge of an improved field. The building, which measures 7.2m from E to W by 3.1m internally, is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcvi), becoming roofless by the date of the 2nd edition (Sutherland 1907, sheet xcvi). The derelict roofed farmhouse to the ENE (NC 7197 0529) of the building is also depicted as roofed on the 1st edition map, along with several buildings to the S (NC 7199 0525) of which no traces now remain.
