This farmstead, which is situated towards the N end of the enclosed ground around Rhilochan, comprises two buildings and a hut arranged around two conjoined yards, one of which contains stack stands while the other encloses a midden hollow.
The building at the centre of the farmstead (ROG95 110, NC 7477 0756) appears to have been a byre-house. The NW half of the building measures 8.8m by 3.5m within clay-bonded footings 0.6m in thickness and up to 2m in height. There are cruck slots in the walls and a door in the SE end leads into a butted-on byre which measures 6.3m in length, beyond which there is an outshot extending for 3.4m. There are at least five stack stands in the enclosure to the NE of the building into which the byre drain empties. The SE side of this enclosure is partially formed by the second building (ROG95 108) which measures 7m by 3.1m internally and is largely covered by recent clearance. The hut (ROG95 109) lies along the SE side of the enclosure to the SW of the byre-house and measures 3.3m by 2.7m internally. A subrectangular midden hollow lies at the centre of this enclosure.
The 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcvi) shows the byre-house as roofed. A further roofed building is also depicted in the same location as the second building (ROG95 108), but is much longer than the structure recorded. The location of the hut is indicated by an angle in a wall line. By the date of the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1907, sheet xcvi) both buildings had fallen out of use.
A hut on a low knoll to the SE of the farmstead (see NC 70NW 109) may have been associated with the farmstead.
