Full Description

What may be a hut-circle (ROG95 323, NC 7247 0926) is situated on a terrace to the SE of a rounded knoll above the SW bank of the River Brora. It measures 10.4m from E to W by 8.6m transversely within a grass-grown boulder-faced bank, 1.8m in thickness and 0.3m in height, with an entrance on the W. The W half of the interior slopes towards the entrance.
Levelled into the base of the knoll to the WNW of the hut-circle, there is a rectangular hut (ROG95 322), which measures 4m from NW to SE by 2.2m transversely within a stony bank spread to 1m in thickness and 0.5m in height. Both the hut-circle and hut lie to the S of an earth-and-stone bank which runs WNW from the public road to an unnamed burn (NC 7202 0946).
