The grass-grown footings of two buildings, a kiln and a hut are situated on a semi-improved terrace within the improved and enclosed fields of Inchomnie. The larger building (ROG95 98, NC 7490 0663) has two compartments and measures 14.1m from E to W by 2.9m transversely within footings spread to 0.9m in thickness and 0.2m in height. The western compartment is dished and may have been a byre. The second building measures 7.4m from NE to SW by 3.1m internally with three compartments, the NE of which is connected to a stone-faced kiln-bowl (ROG95 97, NC 7491 0661) measuring 1.6m in diameter within an earthen bank spread to 2.2m in thickness and 0.5m in height. The flue is on the SW, opening out into the building, whose inter-relationship is not clear. The hut (ROG95 100, NC 7491 0664) comprises a stone-and-earth mound measuring 4.4m from NNE to SSW by 2.8m transversely overall and 0.3m in height, with a slight central depression. Faint traces of ridging are visible on the terrace to the W of the hut.
