This U-shaped burnt mound is situated on the leading edge of a terrace some 3m above the N bank of an unnamed burn to the E of Clashpeanan. It measures 13.2m from E to W by 8.6m transversely and 0.7m in height, opening out to the S. Lifting a sod revealed cracked stone and black soil.
