The roofless shell of a rectangular, mortared-rubble building is situated on a terrace at the E end of the ridge to the N of a string of crofts. The dwelling lies at the WNW end of the building and measures 9.6m by 4m internally, with fireplaces in both ends and windows flanking a central door in the SSW side. Two successive outshots spring from the ESE end, the first has been a byre, with a drain emptying out through the NNE side, beyond which is what may have been a barn with opposed entrances. To the S The remains of an enclosure are marked by mature trees, probably a grown-out hedge.
The building, which is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet civ) with an enclosure to the S, was named Creagnacoire. There is now no trace of a further roofed building and an enclosure shown on the 1st edition to the N of the building. The ENE end is shown as roofed on the current edition of the OS 6-inch map.
