This township comprises seven, or possibly eight, buildings, an enclosure, and a stackyard. The buildings, all but two of which have been heavily robbed and are reduced to their footings, range from 6m to 19.3m in length by 4m to 6m in breadth over faced-rubble walls, 0.65m to 1.0m thick. The two best preserved are of relatively recent date. One (ROG95 500), a three-bay cottage, stands to full wall-height and is constructed with mortar-bonded, roughly-dressed stone that bears the traces of having been harled; it is orientated E-W, with an outshot on the W, 5m in length by 3.1m in breadth, and a fireplace in the E, and it has been used recently for the deposition of rubbish. The other (ROG95 501) is a small gorse-grown bothy. Another building, which lies immediately NW of the present house, is also of recent date (ROG95 502), but it has been robbed to its footings. The remainder are reduced to grass-grown footings and may belong to an earlier phase. Four of these buildings are more than 10m in length (ROG95 824-826, 828), but none stands more than 0.25m high. One displays signs of being divided in two compartments (ROG95 826), and there is the trace of another platform to the S at an oblique angle, which may be an earlier structure. The pen is a roughly square enclosure about 6m across (ROG95 827). A dog-burial ('Pepper') has been placed against the W end of one of the buildings (ROG95 826), and there is a drystone-walled yard with the circular stone bases for stack stands visible within it (NC 7267 0342).
Three of the recorded buildings (ROG95 500-02) and two others that are still roofed are shown as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet civ).
