A farmstead, comprising six roofless buildings, is situated at base of a rocky scarp on a SW-facing slope overlooking the Garbh-allt. The two-storey farmhouse (ROG95 157) has an entrance flanked by windows in S side and an outshot, possibly a byre, to W. The five further buildings (ROG95 155-6, 158-9), which range from 3.7 m to 9.5 in length and 2.3m to 2.4m in breadth, include a cartshed (ROG95 156) and what may have been a pig-sty (ROG95 158).
The farmstead is depicted on 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xciv) as roofed and is shown on current edition of OS 6-inch map (1970) as unroofed.
