Full Description

NC70SW 83 7287 0452
On a terrace on SW-facing slope of ridge extending NW from Creag Bail' a' Chlaiginn there are a hut-circle, two huts, an enclosure and a group of small cairns. The hut-circle (ROG95 161, NC 7287 0452) measures 10.8m NNW to SSE by 8.5m within a faced-bank 1.4m in thickness and 0.3m in height. The S side of hut-circle has been slighted by cultivation which has extended into the interior. On the terrace to NE of hut-circle there is an irregular stony-bank enclosing a boggy area, at the centre of which is a small pond. Two huts (ROG95 162-3) measuring up to 3.3m by 2.4m internally are attached to outside of bank to NW and NE.
About twenty small cairns measuring up to 5m diameter and standing up to 0.4m high are spread over terrace around the hut-circle and onto crest of ridge (ROG95 839). (ROG95 161-3, 839)
