This farmstead, which comprises three roofless buildings, is situated on a narrow terrace on the NNE-facing hillside to the S of the Garbh-allt. The roof of the two-storey farmhouse (ROG95 165) has recently collapsed into the interior. To the WNW an L-shaped extension may have been a byre, while a garden enclosure lies on the hillside to the S of the farmhouse. Two further buildings (ROG95 166-7) lie to the W and SE of the farmhouse. At least five stack stands are situated on a terrace to the N of the westernmost building (ROG95 166).
All three buildings, including the outshot to the farmhouse, are depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet civ) and named 'Leathad'. The current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971) shows two buildings (ROG95 165-6) with only the farmhouse depicted as roofed.
