Two shieling-huts-huts, an enclosure with two additional cells and at least five structures described as drystone cells, which are situated to the S of a modern track and on the N of the Allt a' Mhuill Bric, were recorded during the course of a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth (NMRS MS 961/4, no.1). Two areas of enriched grassland, both differing markedly to the surrounding vegetation are visible, one of which surrounds the above settlement, the other lies c.500m to the W of the site.
