Full Description

At NH 7696 2560 at about 1400ft OD an levelled onto a S-facing slope, is a denuded circular hut platform c.13.5m in diameter with traces of a stone wall around its rim. In the SE arc is a boulder and a band of smaller stones which are uncertainly part of the build up of material or an eroded wall.
The entrance is not evident.
The hut occurs within a contemporary field system with fields averaging 30.0m by 20.0m marked by stone clearance heaps, lynchets and occasional ruinous walls.
Hut surveyed at 1/10,000.
