Full Description

In an unconspicuous position within a field system (NH72SE 4), is a cairn c.12.0m in diameter and 0.6m high. The centre is disturbed. A fragment of walling c.3.0m long against the W edge may be an old grouse butt.
Surveyed at 1/10 000.
Visited by OS (A A) 16 December 1971.

Two cairns (MHG2847 and MHG2848) and an associated field system (MHG2850) situated c. 400m south of a bend in the river Findhorn by Dalarossie church on a false crest, and within 400m of Dalarossie cairn (MHG2849). This cairn (MHG2847) is well preserved. <1>
