Full Description
There are two hut-circles and an area of small cairns in heather- and grass-covered, rough pasture to the NE of Collinstown. The two hut-circles are almost adjacent to one another, being separated by a drystone pen, and both appear to have an entrance on the SE arc. The SE hut-circle is oval on plan and measures 9.5m from NNW to SSE by 8m transversely within stony banks spread to 1.8m in thickness; the other measures 8.5m in diameter within a stone-faced bank, 1.1m thick. The pen or enclosure is built between the two, measuring 5.5m from N to S by 4.6m transversely, and is accessible from the hut-circle to the NW. The small cairns lie to the E and cover an area of about 50m across.
