Full Description

This hut-circle is situated on a bracken-covered terrace above the NE bank of the Abhainn Leataidh, about 250m NW of Collinstown township (NC60NE 12). It measures 6.4m from NE to SW by 5.5m transversely within a faced-rubble wall 1.1m thick and 0.5m high. There is a possible entrance on the NE. The wall on the N side is roughly straight, possibly as a result of rebuilding. Immediately outside the hut-circle on the E side there is a small area of rig cultivation, each rig running approximately N-S and measuring about 2.5m broad.
