Full Description

There are at least three grass-covered bloomery mounds on the edge of a terrace above boggy ground about 250m SW of the public road through West Langwell and 800m SSE of Bardachan farmsteading. They stand up to 1.5m high on the downhill (S) side and eroded exposures show that they contain a large amount of slag and charcoal.
