On the N side of the road from Inverie to Airor about 350 metres W of Scotus Burn is a rectangular structure. 1.5m higher than the road it is set back 2.0m from it within an enclosure bounded by a turf bank on the W and N and on the E by a burn (25m to the E).
Measuring 11.5m E/W by 5.5m transversely over walls 0.8m thick and up to 0.7m high. Wall corners are round and in the S side wall is an entrance 0.8m wide, its W margin 5.0m from the outer SW corner.
The 1st Ed OS Map shows two structures, both roofed, one parallel to the road, the other at an angle to it.
