Full Description

NG70SE 13 7531 0057

In a wooded area at the foot of a steep cliff about 5m from the N side of the road from Inverie to Airor where it is joined by the road from Glaschoille House are the remains of a rectangular structure, possibly with an outshot at its SW end.
Measuring 15m WNW/ESE by 4m within wall founds about 0.7m thick and up to 0.4m high. There is a NNE/SSW wall, 0.4m thick and 0.3m high, possibly a partition, 7m from its ESE end. There is an entrance 0.7m wide in the NNE wall about 1m WNW of the 'partition' wall. There is no clear evidence of an entrance into the other 'compartment' but a gap in the SSW wall, about 4m from the ESE end suggests that that was possibly the location of the entarnce.
Extending SSW from the WNW end is an outshot overall 6m WNW/ESE by 4m with wall founds, where visible 0.8m thick and up to 0.3m high.
