OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1906)

The old Gallowhill of Petty is a small natural mound by the side of the road on the farm of Morayston. Human remains were found here in A.D. 1860.
ISSFC 1885; Name Book 1870.

At this spot is a ploughed-down grass knoll. No additional information was encountered concerning the finds.
