A small structure is visible in an improved field to the NE of the broch (ND13SE 19) and immediately NE of the farmstead of Minera (ND13SE110.00). Roughly triangular on plan, the structure measures 7.5m from NE to SW by 6.6m within a bank spread to 1.9m in thickness and up to 0.3m in height. There is a possible entrance on the NE with appears to be a slight ramp at its SW end.
