Full Description

A jadeite ceremonial axe found at Daviot is referred to by Evans and is now in his collection at the Ashmolean Museum (Acc. No. 1927 4627). It is a highly polished specimen, 19 cm long, of type Ia, the material of which is very similar to an example found at Paslickstown, Co. Westmeath, Eire. (W C Smith 1963)
