Full Description

The site was discovered by Martin Wildgoose and Steven Birch in November 1999 on the line of a new access track. They initially collected around 1000 lithics, mostly bloodstone and noted a possible hearth complex. The site was subsequently included as part of the Scotland's First Settlers Project, from where the report described below orignated.
