Full Description

Jonathan Wordsworth visited this site with regard to a planning application in c2000. He reported that the area contains mounds which are probably only the remains of fairly recent field clearance. This information has been added following a further planning application (IN-04-1083) with a requirement for a reconnaissance survey.
(KC 02/2005)

A prehistoric settlement - presumed to have been reported by Donald Coghill (although we hold no further details). Site visit by John Wood (spring 2002?) identified signs of apparent field clearance and unclassified mounds within the woodland.
