Placename 'Navity' - St Bennet's Chapel (Site of), the only vestiges are a heap of stones and a grassy mound. Near it stood a stone trough..destroyed about the year 1745. There is no local knowledge of it. St Bennet's Well at NH792650, still used as a rag-well(OS 1966). No trace of anything at OS 6-in siting symbol. The landowner knew of the site but had found nothing.
