Full Description

To the N. of the Allt nan Leac burn and 80m N.E. of SMR NG51NE0018, is a low rock shelter formed in the granite bedrock. A low wall has been built across the front and side of the shelter, which is now overgrown with heather. The inside of the shelter is slightly damp, but the presence of shell midden material ( Limpet and Periwinkle) and fragments of charcoal indicate past occupation.
