Full Description

A possible unrecorded cairn. The full extent of the structure is not known and there is some damage caused by a fence across it.
Information from Mr J Duberley, Spean Bridge.
See assoc. docs. File.
J Aitken : 01/05/01.

The site was visited by M Wildgoose on 23/08/2015. It appeared to be the remains of a chambered cairn with the exposed chamber, (built from massive upright slabs), measuring 2m by 3m and still standing to circa 1.20m high. The covering cairn had been reduced to surface remains leaving the chamber visible. A nearby ruinous house, byre and enclosure (30m to the south) may have been constructed out of cairn material with a number of the chamber wall/roof slabs used as lintels in the house. <1>
