Full Description

Late C19 Fish farm structures at Carrol, Strath Brora.

A structure is depicted on the current OS map. An aerial photo taken in 2002 shows up the remains of this structure, as well as another rectangular oblong structure to the NE of the track and Carrol Burn. Aerial Photo taken by J Bone, 2002. <1>

These two structures from part of a late C19 fish farm/salmon hatchery (see MHG29870 for the main record).

The structures were Scheduled by Historic Environment Scotland in 2016. <2> <3>
