Full Description
Erected by the 24th Chief, beginning of the 20th Century. The wheel powered a sawmill and a 7Kw generator, one of the first estates in the Highlands to produce their own electricity. Wheel life expired 1945. On the same site there is a new Hydro scheme producing 20Kw, with a special sluice to prevent the smolts getting into the turbine.
