This corn-drying kiln was noted during a DBA and walkover survey by J Wood in 2004 on behalf of the Highland Wildlife Park. It was probably a double-bowl kiln but possibly a large bowl to the east with a substantial draw-hole on its western side. Adjoining on the north was a small rectangular service building. It might have been used for burning lime in the later 19th c. but its form is that of a corn-dryer. 18th - 19th c. <1>
