About 1845 a 'large cairn and circle', possibly a Clava cairn, were noted at Connage; nothing can now be seen.
Bain 1925; RCAHMS 1979, visited March 1978.

Mr James Smith, Connage, states that on the site indicated by him at NH 7782 5332 which is still very stony, there stood a cairn about 30ft in diameter.
Site surveyed at 1:2500.
Visited by OS (RD) 18 August 1964.
