This fragment has recently come to light, having lain amongst some rubble at site for an indefinite period. The detail is obscure, and the iconography has not yet been identified. There is a feature reminiscent of one angle annd arm of a cross, which Robert Gourlay remarked could be interpreted as an 'axe shape' having possible earlier Neolithic or Early Bronze Age parallels. However, considerable doubt must remain on the stone's context.
Blackie and Macaulay, no. 28.
