Still there 04/2005 - HAW 04/2005

WWII concrete pillbox set into the bank pposite a bridge over the railway. Pillbox covering a road block near by. Pillbox rectangular in shape. Road block NH59SE0067. The pillbox has a Turnbull Mounting in its loophole. Photos in J A Guy, 20th Century Defences, (report nos. 1, 8 & 11)
