Full Description

Concrete WWII pillbox. Only one wall of this pillbox is extant in the bank above the road. It is possible to see lengths of tramline that was used for reinforcing rods. Photo in J A Guy, 20th Century Defences, (report nos. 1, 8 & 11)

Nothing visible at this NGR during field survey. Possibly a duplicate of MHG36346 located & recorded c. 120 m to SE. <1>
